I am going to be honest here - whilst the photos are very good ones - I cannot help but be sickened by them due to it being a brit fighter!! - furthermore its not and never has been Ricky being a problem - its those around him.

Was going to comment on the Hatton Team thread - thought best to leave it alone - now is not the time - the photos shown on this thread bring things home - that was a sickening knock out and I genuinally feel sickened by it and did not enjoy seeing it at all - Ricky and his brother Matthew are ok and there is nowt wrong with Lee Beard either he is okay - I will leave it there.

Well, understable, but never the less, aiming to knock an opponent out IS the aim of the sport.

I don't like those type of pics.

Yes your right whicker, knocking your opponent out is the name of the game.

BUT... These pics are not of the shot's landing, they are of a man laying on the floor unconsious, motionless and clearly they are not very dignified.

Yes the pic of Manny looking down at him are one thing but the ones that are taken of him just laid out are a bit tasteless (for me anyway).

We all watch traffic cops or accident shots on tv but I wouldn't want to see the bodies laid out on the side of the road.

Again I'm not judging but there is no drama to those photo's. They are just of a man unconsious.

Would you say the same thing if it were PACMAN on the canvas or would you be praising Hatton?

DG, I'm not that shallow mucka.

WHOEVER it was laid out like that I would not like the photo's.
It's a bit off to suggest I'd not like it for one man but would for another!

I have a great pic of a boxer been counted out by the ref while his opponent looks on. There are 3 people in the pic and you can 'feel' the drama.

Those latter ones on this thread are just a man on his own, laid out on the floor.

Not for me thanks mate. WHOEVER it is!

No problem, but for me this shows the ferocious nature of Boxing and not the Rocky effect people see from their armchair.

The last time I saw a sickening knock out was when little Femi Fehintola got knocked out by Ryan Barrett in Jersey - it aint funny at all - you genuinally get worried about the lad - initial thoughts are "wake up you f*cker" - then you go onto " I wonder how this will affect the bloke".

Okay there is a difference between Femi and Hatton - Hatton has earned a lot of dough and if those around him advise him correctly he will thoroughly enjoy his retirement.

I have never had a problem with Ricky its like I have always stated its those around him who are not quite right and cause conflict when there was never any need to - as soon as money gets involved people do not want to lose their slice of the pie so they act like selfish, jealous & possessive ****s.

The photos are horrible can't say much more than that - and when you know someone they get worse.

I was at one of them unlicensed shows today - I seriously could not believe how many people including the ring announcer gloating at Hatton losing - he took the p*ss and then could not understand why the piece of Hatton memorabilia he had did not sell.

Another thought regarding the photos - he is a brit fighter - okay Lennox Lewis got sparked in the Rahman fight but I am sorry when was the last time a high profile fighter got sparked in the way Hatton did last night?

I havent a problem with pictures of this nature.
Was there a case in America years ago where they showed an execution live on tv?

Hatton whether you like him or not has done a tremendous amount for British Boxing - I personally do not like the photos that just my own personal opinion, I think they are quite sick but hey I also understand thats boxing - its those that seem to revel in these sort of pictures which I find not only distastful but really quite sick and I wonder what them same people would have been saying if the pictures were of Pacman?
