Hatton if he does not retire

I know there is already a lot of talk on here about what Ricky's next move will be.

Probably he will retire, but I'm sure he will want one last fight in Manchester and I have three opponents in mind.

He will want the fight to be at light welter and the TV companies will want a big name.

The three opponents in my mind are Timothy Bradley, Nate Campbell or Junior Witter.

Bradley is fast becoming a big name and recently gave up his WBC belt I think, which Junior Witter and Devon Alexander will probably fight for. Nate Campbell is considered a big name in America, he's been fighting at lightweight but looks ready to make the step up. I know people have said the Witter fight may never happen, but this may be the time for it to happen.

I think Hatton should retire and I cant see him wanting a fight at a lower level. Witter!!! you must be kidding, no way, it wont happen.

only fight would be money fights and only money fight would be khan, should khan win WBA title

bradley is a light hitter, doesn't seem to have any "stage persona" or presence. at best he's respected, no more. witter - for all he's achieved - is a "who needs him" club member, with some good world level performances, some massively uneven ones, and 2 fights where he fought way below par the only time America were watching.

but I dont think there are other big names out there in the division. I have a feeling Ricky will want one more fight.

Will Warren really want to put Khan in with Hatton? It would be a huge money spinner but I think it's a quite more of a gamble than the Barrera fight.

theres more chance of me fighting pacman than there is of warren putting glass chin in with hatton,why do think khan`s gone up a weight?,cos he`d never get near a world title with all those big hitters in the lightweight div,would be good to see ricky sparking him out though

I think hes clever enough to know when to call it a day but if the lure of a last big fight at Manchester then i think it'll be against a big name but as i said i think he'll retire

but ricky's not a big puncher, he's a pressure fighter, may be tight at light welter, and is coming off a devastating defeat

there are a few bombers at 140 - victor ortiz, marcos maidana, the winner of whom will likely fight the khan-kotelnik winner

if khan CAN deal with slow, steady pressure of kotelnik, then who knows, maybe they will gamble & take on the faster pressure of hatton

I think Hatton retires now .. he has no chance to ever beat PacMan .. and to fight and even beat the other belt holders at the weight is pretty meaningless and pointless in his boxing quest to be P4P number 1.

I favoured Hatton to be too much at 140lb .. sadly it seems the Malignalli fight gave a wrong impression as to what Hatton has left .. maybe the Lazcano fight showed what he had left best :(

If he wants to continue. He should fight at home, in the MEM for a belt. Against a fellow Brit.

If Khans wins the WBA (which I don't think he will) take him on.

If Witter wins the WBC, then take him on.

He should fight which ever one wins a belt. Win or lose (he'll beat Khan easy, not sure about Witter) then retire.
