MONTERO FAILS DRUG TEST!

Post by Priff »

www.allegedly.tv wrote:Eugenio Montero’s shock win over Anthony Farnell may be scrubbed from the record books after he failed a drugs test.

Montero, who beat Farnell with a late stoppage in Manchester in June, is awaiting the results of a B-test followig his WBU middleweight world title win.

The A-test revealed traces of nandrolone and an amphetamine.

"I don't want to say anything until the B sample results come back, but all is not what it seems,” he told the Manchester Evening News.
I presum the 'He' in the final quote is Farnell.

Well, I get the impression Farnell is now a fighter who knows his level so I would certainly expect so!
Lockett/Elcock in the other corner hopefully. That's probably the only way to salvage something from the nose-dive this weight division has taken of late.
Light Middle is not much better.
