It's time for another edition of The Boxing Bulletin's feature series, Score it!

This time we're going back to October 9, 1993 to score the controversial rematch between Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank.

The first bout had been a major upset with the underdog Eubank winning via 9th round TKO to take Benn's WBO middleweight crown. Almost 3 years later, on a cold night at Manchester's Old Trafford Stadium, with over 42,000 fans in attendance, the two heated rivals finally squared off again in one of the most anticipated rematches ever in British boxing.

I had Benn 1 or 2 rounds up i cant remember i think i gave him the last 2 rounds and that swung it for him but it was close

I thought Benn won by a couple of rounds, a close fight but Benn shaded it in most opinions

Not seen it for ages so I couldn't tell you which rounds were won by who but I had Benn winning 7 rounds to 5.

Benn deserved the nod, without a doubt. There were 5 rounds that were clearly his, and a bunch of close ones.

Believe I had Been winning about 8 rounds to 4, maybe 7-4-1.

I seem to recall there was a point deduction at some point, but he still had a definite edge by the end IMO.

scored the fight a draw 114-114 but had benn winning in rounds 6-5-1 , the point for low blows cost benn the win

Had Eubank winning rounds 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 11 and 12.

Benn winning rounds 4, 8, 9 and 10.

7 even.

Point off for Benn.

Thought Chris showed much more dexterity in his hands and feet, was nullifying Nigel nicely to take time off of rounds, and that Benn was throwing too many punches off-balance.

Both tired as hell in the second half of the fight and down the stretch.
