There were only a few Thursday night

152-Richard Gorman
165-Marcus Chapman
178-Ray Lucies
201-Ray Stallings

There was one at 141 ( Eric Draper vs Calvin Gordon ), I missed that decision, but I believe Draper won. I also didn't catch the 201+ as just about everyone was leaving.

Yea I must say it was a joke. I was there on invite for the first time and saw that happen to three fighters who were robbed badly.

There should never be politics played with a 17 yr old kid. What message are we sending to this kid that worked hard, clearly won and to get robbed. There is no life lesson in that and we must take a stand against that nonsense. It could be us going to work and giving our all only to be told we are better than the next man but we lose you are fired.

That boy ran and ran and ran and ran. How can you call yourself a champion and run from a 17 year old kid that has been fighting for under 3 years or right at 3 years. How can a champ look hisself in the mirror and say I outboxed him. You ran and if that's outboxing then I will run from my competition in business and see if I can get the victory.

To anyone that says he outboxed him in my opinion need to sit down and ask themselves what boxing is all about. Go back and review history. Go look at fights when fighters were robbed and you say wow. That was a wow fight and the best man didn't win.

One good thing I see about this kid is that he is still young and angry. I feel for those in his path. Lucies better never fight him again cause I see him having broken ribs for real.

The true winner was robbed.

IMO, the internet and video sharing will make officials and judges more accountable for their scoring. Especially for an advancing tournament. All you can do is tape the bouts, put them online for everyone to judge for themselves.

I know that it doesn't give you the same sense as being there (Mel) but it's better than explaining what happened with words, which is all we had in the past. One day, the technology will be readily available to give us the exact angle that the judges saw - so they will really be accountable.

Anyone have video of this bout?

I can check and see, I know there were a few people with cameras. I'm check'n around, cause it was that obvious.
I believe there is a video of the Mellencamp bout.

Moxley at 106 is gone, Did O'brien showup? Don't see where he lost, and he's not in the Semi's. Indiana got what they deserved. They need to let the kids from Northern Indiana in the state tourney. Fort Wayne, South Bend, Michigan City, Gary, Hammond, East Chicago, and the rest of the Calumet Region should be allowed to participate in the Indiana GG's.

I knew Chapman would win at least 2, I knew Lucies would get spanked as usual and thought Stallings may get pass the second round, but the rest I had no faith in.

I was looking up things on ray Lucies and I was at that fight. And saw this!!! Yes ray did lose to him earlier that year. And told me that he was strong, his plan was to move and box. I have the video and I watched it over and over in slow motion even. And I hate to tell all you guys that kid was missing 95% of the time. Ray out boxed him. It wasn't the most exciting way to win but he did win. Ad for all you that don't believe it look at mayweathers fights looks like he takes a bunch of punches. But!!! Any1 who knows boxing, knows that glancing blows don't count.!!!! Hense the white on amature boxing gloves! The white has to connect in full. So read a boxing manual or learn the sport!

Wow, I'm glad you finally got here after 4 years to clear that up!
Oh BTW, since then, amateur boxing removed the white portion of the glove and there won't be headgear worn in the next Olympics and major tournaments leading up to them.
