Jesus christ you're the most depressive person I have never met

Ever thought of feature writing for the North Belfast News? (The officially most depressing paper in the world) :DD

Just you lot

I presume your not a fan of the sweet science.

Do you have any facts to back it up? Or is it just presumption like my own?

Pray tell.

Yes i am somewhat a fan of bxing of course, but unlike 95% of the proles who ppst here, i am aware that there is actually a big wide world away from the mindless crap that gets posted on here.

Go see Autobahn's posts for an example

they are an hilarious example of someone with no concept whatsoever about life away from boxing internet forums

He has a point.

Boxing is a Mugs game. The best boxers in Britain "Hatton and Calzaghe" may get supported by some fans here, but fact is, to the general people, they ese guys like them and think what the?

Hatton is more of a novelty, and Joe's "Undefeated" is meaningless. I mean they saw him get dropped by an ancient Hopkins and an ancient RJJ.

People think the average fan will make too much of the "0" in his record, sorry, but the average fan i know is always asking who did he face that was his biggest bout, and why he didn't face anyone decent.

If it's about the money, so be it. It's them in the ring.

It's when they bring the "Legacy" nonsense into the ring, by facing old boxers, passed it guys or has-beens and say "oh look who i beat" that pretty much makes them look like a joke.

Hence, pretty much why Setanta boxing is looking like a joke.

Appreciate what you are saying KG, but also whilst you don't live in the UK how do you know what reasons (or what sport) people are chosing (or not chosing) to watch Setanta for?

I know lots of people, who probably don't know that such a forum existed, who are going to subscribe to Setanta for the summer months - primarily for the Haye fight. They are not "hardcore" boxing fans, but have heard of Haye (mainly after he beat the Welshman Maccrinelli) and have heard of Klitchsko... but probably getting Vitali and Wladimir mixed up.

I think you are doing "us lot" a bit of an injustice, sure there have been some notions for fights that are not financially viable... eg. Calzaghe vs Inkin, however I am sure all that suggested such a fight would know is not going to happen but would still like to see it in an "ideal world".

nooooo KG, it was ulrich, thomas ulrich that joe ducked all those years! joe has left unfinished business, he will never be able to walk away untril he has CLOSURE, forget the money; legacy! can't you get it right, man? ulrich, inkin, inkin, ulrich, not that hard to tell the difference, not if you bother to watch the fights

why would joe want to fight inkin? he loves the man,. practically gave hi the WBO back door strap

you're just pissed off cos i was right when i predicted that francis-erdei and inkin-balzsay would be better fights than the museum piece that was calzaghe-RJJ. ok, francis-erdei didn't happen but for 2-way action and brisk pace and competitive boxing, inkin-balzsay delivered. get over it, woman.

you mean the shit fights and the mismatches happen cos this is a BUSINESS? is it true you used to be able to get more mney for a WBU fight than a British title? that fighters want money not glory? no waaaayyy

if a person says so and so fight is a bag of shit, that doesn't mean that the person doesn't understand that the pile of shit fight makes money. you don't seem to be able to seperate these factors
