Listen, mate. I am one of the people that would be very surprised if you got to British level, but let me tell you something, you sound like a top geezer and I am a massive fan. I hope you can prove me wrong, because it would be amazing if you went far in this game.

UNLIKE MOST PROSPECTS I AM NOT A FULLTIME BOXER SO TRAINING FULL TIME AND WORKING FULLTIME TAKES ITS TOLL AND THEN I HAD TO MOVE HOUSE 3 WEEKS B4 THE FIGHT WHICH TOOK ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND DIDNT HARDLY GET ANY SLEEP SO I WASNT RESTED ENUFF. BUT SAYING THAT PERET FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I AM NOT RATED AND THATS FINE

Can I ask you a question, do you think you're too muscular in your arms to be a boxer? Is there ways to reduce your muscular physique, because it can't be easy throwing punches in bunches when your arms weigh about three tonnes each.

THING IS I HAVN'T DONE ANY WEIGHT TRAING SINCE JULY LAST YEAR SO THT IS THE WAY MY BODY IS STRUCTURED. I AM GOING TO TRY AND REDUCE MY WEIGHT SO WE WILL SEE HOW THAT GOES

larry i am a massive fan after i saw you absolutely clubbing an opponent to the canvas on sky. stiff clubbing shots to the opponent, who found himself in a horizontal position. i am surprised you lost but you have to take this game seriously and come in fully prepared because i think you can do the likes of mcdermott and williams if you are on song, none of this no sleep stuff, you are a professional athlete with the potential to make some good dosh from the game mate. work hard and do this geezer in the rematch (with clubbing punches!) and climb up the ladder!

COME ON LARRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem an honest chap and have plenty of support on here due to your attitude.
Good luck with the return and a loss is not the end of the world.
Maybe you needed it to realise the sport needs 100% of your time and focus?

That isn't a bad call from someone I believe is one of our hottest prospects and has the potential to go way beyond British level

warmachine-as a new pro you are learning,peret is a more experienced pro there is nothing wrong with a loss there is far too much emphasis on continually winning, great if u can but too many fighters quit too early because they got a loss and most fans simply dont understand there are many great fighters who have losses and also many so called journeymen who are difficult to beat,who have no pressure on them, frequently end up winning usually on points.Pele reid is a great example of a 18 fight unbeaten streak, then steps up in class and is immediately exposed-good luck bounce back

As long as you learn from it Larry then there ain't nothing wrong with a loss..I lost a few as an am and had the experience of going all over the world!! I personally think if you had that you wouldn't have lost!! I always used to look at my losses and would usually find that I was the main cause for them so I'd go back to the gym and work until I got it right!!

I think you should do the same thing mate, I know your trying your best and it's so hard trying to mix work with training BUT I personally think you have the attributes to do well!! Just learn from your mistakes and keep working hard in the gym mate and you'll come good pal..

OMG A guy with limited experience loses his fifth fight in a close fight, disaster - his career is over....NOT! Unlucky Larry,this game is a learning process and they say you learn more from losses than your wins. Good luck in the rematch and hope you prove the doubters wrong.

I think you were always gonna pick up some losses along the way so in a way the loss against Peret didnt surprise me too much.

Look at someone like Julius Francis

He didnt turn Pro till he was 29 and had a very up and down career but still managed to become the British and Commonwealth Champion plus of course make some good money by fighting big names like Mike Tyson.

The most important thing is that you start active and fight as often as possible and keep learning and improving both your offensive and defensive skills.
