It will be interesting to see what moments in boxing you will never forget. Obviously, I am still a baby in comparison to some of you old farts, so my clips are a little more recent. It would be nice if you shared your favourite moments in the sport.
Mine has to be when Benn fought Mcllellan. He had just been put through the ropes on his arse and was pushed back into the ring. He took another beating for a bout 30 seconds after he got up and then he started swinging a few back.
The roar when the crowd knew that he was fighting his guts out to stay in it was amazing. I`ll never forget that fight.
Thanks for that. I hadn't seen it since the night. Brought back great memories. I remember dancing around the room after that. Amazing scenes in the Carbo household.
I also remember that corrupt, fat hog of a referee. It was like they'd brought in the cast of Deliverance and picked the most inbred son-of-a-bitch red neck, reminded him who the house fighter was, and pushed him out.

Muhammad Ali is simply so powerful. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there seems to be something there that allows him to say things that would make others sound like a boorish braggart; and there is something quite thrilling about watching and listening to him.
Mailer might have been hyperbolic in the first page of The Fight, but he was accurate.
This knockout compilation is one of the best I've seen on the internet: a nice mixture of eras and most of the game's greatest fighters. Robinson's knockout of Fullmer should be much higher and notice how low Duran's hands are as he waits for the bomb to drop, and Ingo's right leg twitching.
