DLH had success with his tactics against Mayweather but just didn't have the 12 round stamina. His coach for that fight... Freddie Roach. Pac will definitely have the stamina and be far busier.
Pac is also faster than Judah who gave Mayweather trouble.
I don't think Floyd is beyond getting KOed either. He has been hurt a couple of times when caught.
Floyd has back and hand problems and has been very inactive, while Pac is still sharp as ever and at the top of his confidence.
First off, Floyd is fighting Marquez, who outboxed Pacman and I believe WON both fights. In my mind, Marquez is the number one pound for pound at the moment.
Floyd is better than Marquez, a better technician, a better mover, a better boxer overall, and that says a lot considering how highly I rate Marquez.
Floyd is streets above Pacman. I don't believe Pacquaio is faster than Judah with single shots (I don't think anybody is), however Pac throws faster combinations. However, remember that Floyd has by far and away the best defence in boxing. He has fought and been hit by harder punchers than Pacman. He won't be surprised by Pacs right hook like Hatton was.
This will be such an easy fight for Floyd if it comes off. You really think Pacman can outbox Floyd in a potshotting match. You really think he can hunt Floyd down without taking PUNISHMENT? Floyd will make this an easy fight by staying away from Pac and potshotting him to death and then coming in after a few rounds and beating him on the inside and basically giving him a complete hiding. Marquez will be a tougher fight for Floyd. But make no mistake, Floyd is head and shoulders above Pac or Marquez.

Pacman v Mayweather is a fight that must happen for the good of the sport as we know it....
Too many years of the likes of the so called greats (ie calzaghe &????) avoiding the real wars.
Really hope it happens.... Mayweather wins - Over 3 fights lol

I've got a weird feelin about Mayweather-Marquez. I have a feeling that Mayweather is either going to get beaten or struggle sufficiently to re-retire thus avoiding Pac. I'm not sure why but when someone retires mid career at the height of popularity and on the back of one of their best performances something isn't right. The company that Mayweather keeps etc, I ver much doubt he beats both of them, In fact I doubt he'll even fight bothe of them. If he does it will be further testimony to what a great fighter he's become.

Mayweather will have more problems with Marquez than Pacquiao, if Marquez gets his tactics right and I still don't see Marquez being that competative. Pacquiao is far to easy to hit to pose a serious threadt to Mayweather. He will get caught with right hands all night and what Pacquiao does land will not trouble Mayweather. Mayweather is far too cagey to walk into Pacquiao's shots and Pacquiao does not have the size or defensive skill to stay competative for more than a few rounds. I really hope if this fight happens Pacquiao pulls it off, I just don't see anyone outside of the natural 147lb+ fighters troubliung Mayweather.... That's providing he hasn't lost too much during his retirment, which I can't see, I suspect he hasn't been far from the gym since retiring.

He's never looked far off fighting shape to me in any interviews I've seen, since he retired. I still rekon he's been in the gym keeping busy over the past 18months.Jeff Thomas wrote:I'm not sure.... when your releasing rap songs and your best mates fiddy lol....CheckHook wrote:Mayweather will have more problems with Marquez than Pacquiao, if Marquez gets his tactics right and I still don't see Marquez being that competative. This is really an important factor, how far has he slipped? The Mayweather of 2007 comprehensively beats any version of Pacman. But Mayweather has been slipping since 2005-2007 anyway imo and the weight he gained slowed himCheckHook wrote:He's never looked far off fighting shape to me in any interviews I've seen, since he retired. Mayweather UD or late KO.
UD because he is way more skilled.
Late KO because JMM has Pacman hurt and do not forget Mayweather was quite the puncher in the lower divisions and actually hurt DLH more then Pac did with a single shot.
Also the fight would be at 147.

plus he was bigger than Hatton so he'd be a good bit bigger than Pacman.
Let it go, PBF taller, Hatton heavier.
