The WBC, who imo. is the no.1 belt in the World now have Junior Witter ranked number 3 and Ricky Hatton ranked number 9.
This is a huge step for Witter and puts him into a much higher ranking than Hatton and a great position on the World scene.
Witter, I am sure will take the big fights and not cry over money and I am sure he will NEVER give up a mandotary position for any of the top 3 belts.

I can't believe how many people are wetting their pants over this.
I mentioned it on another board, but look at Eastman. He has been the number 1 contender for the WBC since before SN last made a competitive fight, and he is still waiting.
It don't mean shit really.

Witter's got about as much chance of fighting American-TV darling Arturo Gatti for the WBC title as he has of fighting Ricky Hatton.
