Diego beats the boy from Brazil
Freitas win the first 6 rounds, outboxing Diego, but Corrales comes back to score three knockdowns and win in the 10th. Freitas shakes his head no as the referee asks him if he wants to continue.
Great win by the American - the Brazilian might find he gets some stick on his return home though.

Still waiting for the download though, 450mb file going to take a while.
What a result for Corrales though! I fancied Freitas to have that winning pedigree and find a way to do it, but now Diego has produced 2 stunning back to back results.
To think a few years ago it looked like his career was over, the thrashing by Mayweather which was the kind that often inflicts long term psychological damage on a fighter and then being imprisoned for a year looked to have finished him.
But now he has made it back to the P4P top ten, a remarkable acheivement,

I'm surprised Freitas quit but his spitting out of the gumshield is an old trick he has used in the past to buy more time, i remember he did it against that massive hitter Barry jones :P when he dropped Freitas. Freitas obviously paid the price for his work in the early rounds which he apparently dominated, he slacked off against Casamayor as well but got let off by Joel's less than active workrate. Freitas has always had a questionable chin as has Corrales, however Corrales seems to take on better...a rematch perhaps?

Corralles is undoubtedly benefittijng from the move up in weight too, his punchpower seems better if anything, and he must be taking a shot better if he took all those full blooded shots from Freitas. Corrales is looking like another Gatti, a guy who reverses the trend of his career by finding his boxing brain again.
