BUSTER DOUGLAS RECORD WRONGLY AMENDED

Post by overhand_right »

I notice recently Buster Douglas's fight with Jesse Ferguson has been edited so that it is the 'ESPN final'

It was actually the ESPN semi final. Jesse Ferguson won, then knocked out Tony Anthony is the ESPN final.

So Busters knockout of Dion Simpson was a qtr final, not semi as it now states, and Jesses knockout of Richard Scott was the other qtr, not the semi as it now states.

Why someone changed all this is beyond me?!!

Ferguson v. Douglas was the final of the Eastern section of the ESPN tournament. As far as I know the comment at the bout has always says that.

I would disagree, I don't think it used to say Jesse Ferguson in back to back fights against Douglas and Tony Anthony both times competed in the 'ESPN Final'. Bit confusing to newbies, don't you think?

Perhaps the details under the bouts should be elaborated on a bit more to make it clear?

What is confusing? One says Eastern the other doesn't.

Do "newbies" need specific instructions to read each word of a description?
