Was a big disappointment but I got enough for a decent story for the paper....

However, as a boxing fan I was livid...I got plenty for the armchair fan but f*** all for the guys on here.

Waited nearly two hours for him to turn up because his pals had taken him to a Little Chef down the road. When he did get there he was great, a lovely bloke as I've found him to be on meeting him previously, albeit briefly.

But the people around him are a disgrace. I was asked not to talk about retirement with him but ignored them and asked him anyway.

Witter? Bradley? No chance...all he would say is that he doesn't feel like ever fighting again but will make a decision soon...I'll post it tomorrow anyway when it goes in, FYI.

He did speak about promoting, losing to Pacman and how distraught he's been, as well as some other decent lines, but not what I had hoped for...

I was actually sat with him on two little chairs as a dozen people stood and watched, it was a joke.....and a certain memnber of his entourage made snide comments to our photographer and was tapping his watch throughout.

When she asked if Ricky would put on a glove and pretend to have a knockabout with me for a photo, he said: "If you want cheese, go to a cheese factory" and walked off like Mr Big....

Shame, because Hatton himself was a pleasure to speak with, though he did look like every ounce of confidence had been sapped out of him... :(
