A better technician, yes, but the rounds were pretty even when the fight was stopped through Rogan's injury and Rogan was definately on top at that time. If that fight had'nt of been stopped because of injury, Rogan would have probably stopped Sexton in the next few rounds. I mean, come on, he was virtually one punch away from being stopped, before Rogan had his "moral" dilemmna and stopped punching.

I think if that fight went on rogie probably would have won but im not saying certainly as rogie had him going earlier but wasnt able to finish .

Rogan would stop him in the rematch. He would've stopped him tonight, but the injury changed that.
Im sure it cant be put down to any one act its an accumulation and anyway if it was one punch how are you meant to tell which one?

It was around 40 secs or so left of the round. A bad decision by the referee, he should have allowed it to continue untill the end of the round, because it was obvious that Rogan's eye would'nt have stood up to any more punishment after that round was over and he would have been pulled out on the doctor's advice.
Sexton was having stamina issues and he would have tired and been caught again, because he was in dire straights when Rogan stopped punching, due to Sexton's loss of gumshield. Rogan deserves a re-match and i think that he has Sexton's number, purely and simply because Sexton has'nt got the fitness and stamina to go the distance working on the outside, moving and slipping punches. That's basically what was unfolding before that dreadful eye injury.

13/2 the stoppage or 100/30 Sexton win , with Laddies. That was about 7pm just b4 the fight.
You'd have had to be a bit daft to be on Sexton though considering Rogie's form, especially Sexton by KO.
Rogan should still be commonwealth champion, had it not been for bad refereeing and even worst sportmanship from Sexton. Of course there should be a rematch but I doubt Sexton will not want to get in the same ring as Rogan again, the guy was out on his feet in the eighth. Its a fight the public will want to see so I hope Mr. Warren puts the wheels in motion and set a date in the next three to four months.
