cleverly v mcintosh?
nathan cleverly 15- 0 fights danny mcintosh 10- 0 on the 18th july according to boxrec (although it says on his facebook same night as khan v kotelnik???) for the british title just wondering how everyone thinks this fight will go?
cleverly will win a wide UD imo this is a fight to soon for mcintosh only based on what iv seen on him which is not alot to be honest wondering what everyone else thinks?

Yeah id prob pick clev on pts. I wont be tricked into ko prediction based on knocking over sum hungry africans. Not sure how we are meant to believe he is sum type of banger now. His arms look lik they have been drawn by a 5 year old

Warren had wanted to put it on June 27, but needed a top of the bill for Sky show when Kell Brook pulled out, so Cleverly was switched to May and Hennessy got the other fight.
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?

Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
I havent been that impressed with McIntosh i think Clev will have enough skills to overcome him UD decision for Clev IMO

think cleverly will be able to force a late stoppage
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
Glad to see the rival promoters (MH & FW) have managed to get this fight on (on a Hennessy show), hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
I like both fighters, but I think Cleverly is the better of the 2 and will win by mid-round KO IMO, should be a good fight though and who knows what will happen if Clev gets tagged. It should be a cracker

Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
I'd favour Cleverly at the moment, but McIntosh is coming on in leaps and bounds and doesn't mess about when he's in there. He has a hard dig on him too.
Could be a fight of the year contender.

legalized murder. Macintosh is a novice.
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
i agree.Cleverley is improving all the time and is the next welsh fighter to win a world title.Macintosh has found is level and will get stopped between the 6th and 8th roundsNorthEastBoxingFan wrote:legalized murder. Macintosh is a novice.
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
cleverly far to good for mcintosh. win UD wide.
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
McIntosh can bring a lot more heat than most of the opponents Cleverly has been fighting recently. Oakey was blunt, the Africans pretty hopeless and Boyle, tough but limited.

oakey was and is still quality but clev has too much for dannyTHEBUTCH wrote:McIntosh can bring a lot more heat than most of the opponents Cleverly has been fighting recently. Oakey was blunt, the Africans pretty hopeless and Boyle, tough but limited.

Sounds as if he's a 'plick' !
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
Oakey was actually doing well until he gassed I thought
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
Danny will plant one on his chin, Danny has crazy power for his weight and experience.
Danny by KO come the 8th. Clev will go to box and Danny will maul him in the end.

Doubt it mate, Cleverly by wide, wide points decision unless he's stopped in 4/5.terrez wrote:Danny will plant one on his chin, Danny has crazy power for his weight and experience.

I saw him on TV once he was a right cocky sod.
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
Cleverly by wide points decision or late stoppage for me too. He's a level or two above McIntosh (who is a decent domestic fighter).
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
I think Clev has too much class for the Mac, but if the Mac lands one of those bombs then who knows.
Re: cleverly v mcintosh?
I have to agree with the majority on this after the display of the weekend I think clev wide points win like to see bomber in with winner like to throw my self In the mix but I'm destrnd for smw think bomber will do them both with out sucki g up tony carl
