That one was booked up, managed to get a four-star for an insanely cheap price. Not sure what it is called, it is down the road from the other place.

I've had a call that no man either wants, nor deserves..

It's the dad/son bonding Beavers Camping Weekend Fri 19th June to Sun 21st June. :witzend:

I'm going to need a performance of Buster Douglas proportions to get out of this fuvcking nightmare situation.

I know the feeling. I've been nominated for an award at the Royal Mail Group Chairman's Awards which are taking place on the 19th at Alexandra Palace. I won't be able to attend the glitzy awards ceremony :witzend:

Easy. You tell him that you have won a lottery that you never even entered, but that you have to travel to Dusseldorf to collect the prize on 19th June. When you get back you reveal that you were in fact the victim of an elaborate Nigerian lottery scam.

You add that the shame of it all forced you to find solace in a Heavyweight title fight that just happened to be taking place down the road the following night. Trust me, it will work a treat

I guess you've pre-recorded a video message that they can play on the night once the standing ovation has finished and people realise you are not there to collect the award?
Unfortunately not. One of my members of staff is attending in my absence, he can collect it :TU:

I believe you have the misfortune of sitting with me, The Law and Terry D. You're on the second shift of Dooley-watch.

wowowo i want to go to this one, is it too late? the usual forces of inconvenience are already trying to conspire against me, my friends birthday do is on that night, but it's no match for Klitschko/Haye obviously. I fully expect other challengers to step up to the plate, undoubtedly that will be the only day of the year my girlfriend isn't working on, which is trickier. Can't say party because she'll want to come, can't say i'm away because she knows my schedule, there's no way im missing this

Dooley watch?
I believe Terence is somewhat notorious for going a trifle bonkers on the rare occasions that he has a shandy....

Worth noting for people booking hotels is that trains go back from Gelsenkirchen to Dusseldorf every 15-30 mins all night. Journey is about 40mins to an hour depending on if you need to change.
