Sol doesn't want to fight anyone who hits back .Michael Kirby would defend his OPBF title if Sol wanted to fight him ,so Sol could then be taken seriously and go somewhere in boxing if he won.

That would be a good fight as well, have there been any talks held amongst both parties.

ACE BOXING PROMOTIONS know of the IRON RHINO'S interest in this fight it could be done through them or THE GRANGE because it would be a good FOX SPORTS fight because everyone knows of the RHINO'S willingness to mix it up.

Theres no point in sending contracts when the other party has no intention of fighting!

And if Sol did to King what you mentioned then that could explain why hes not fighting in the states!!!

Solo decided to go back to football at that time. Nice to see a fighter put one over on that old crook.

I've seen all of Gogosina's bouts and matched 3 of them. He's very raw and he'll come forward all night, although I'd think Kirby would be agressive and strong enough to back him up. He can take a decent shot but Im thinking Kirby will Stop him inside of 3! I thaught Ulutoa's management were trying to l ook after him and let him develop a bit more before stepping him up..............clearly not!

I suspect Roy Sio is Ray Sefo - Well credentialed Kickboxer & MMA fighter. Will know later today when I get official results
http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer

It's actually Royce Sio, an ex-South Australian South Heavyweight Champion in amateur. Don't know if he still does, but he used to train at Foxy's Gym.
Apparently he KO'd Steve Rudic in an unsanctioned pro bout last year.
This is what I've read.

Roy Sio, Ray Sefo, Royce Sio....

How difficult is it to establish the identity of a pro boxer in a developed country? Especially when he's in against a top prospect.

Yep, you are correct

His appearance @ Blacktown was not his debut.
He fought on that unsanctioned show in Canberra (13/4/07) & KOd 2006 Commonwealth Games Bronze medalist Steven Paul Rudic
http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer
Sio was South Australia's amateur super heavyweight champ at the time of this fight - Trained by Terry Fox
Rudic has turned to basketball (Canberra Gunners) since then

The Canberra fight is classed unsanctioned, because the bout was contested under the pretence of so called Modified Muay Thai rules, to avoid the expense of NSW BA's involment as required by ACT legislation

Given the fact no kicking was allowed, I've now record it as a pro boxing bout.

Roy being short for Royce is reasonable. Half the blokes I have known who called themselves "Roy" have been Italians who did not liked being called "Rocco".
