This is a video of Floyd Mayweather Snr, speaking for 10 mins, shortly after Hatton's defeat to Pacquio

Little snippets :

When asked how Floyd Jr would go on against Pacquiao, he say " Wupp his ass......."

When asked whether he now viewed Freddie Roach in a different light, he says....."He's still a joke of a coach, he ain't nobody......"

He does sound like a bit of a punk to be honest but Hatton's lot took him on so they take it on the chin, literally in this case, if he didn't cut the mustard.
Sounds like he's been paid an absolute bomb.
What I would say though is that in the 1 break between rounds the advice he imparted to Hatton was sound IMO - he said don't jump in with your head still, move it, and keep your hands up, before adding that that's what he's been saying all along. All sounded like pretty good advice to me....It's not his fault Hatton didn't/ or couldn't carry out those instructions.

If you look past the gum chewing arrogance of Floyd Snr, he talks a lot of sense about boxing and is honest to the point of being blunt. Like you say, Hatton, for whatever reason, did'nt execute Floyd Snr's plan and you can definately here him at the end of the first round, giving instructions that hatton chose to ignore. I personally believe that Hatton was caught quite badly within the first thirty seconds of the fight and at that point, all the tactics in the gym went out of the window and he reverted to type, which is often the case when a fighter adopts tactics that run counter to his natural instincts.

Tell you now , if Ricky was to fight him again , and this time just walk up with the double cover and when in range muscle and bustle him throwing off the counter , chances are , IT MIGHT LAST A FEW ROUNDS LONGER.

aND WHO KNOWS AFTER THAT FEW RNDS Pacman may have slowed just enough

that was funny in a cringeworthy kind of way. Roach appears to have a lot more in the way of class than Mayweather Snr, he keeps himself very composed at all times too. Stood Mayweather Snr on his head

Floyd Mayweather shows no class at all. Roach has it bang on, it's about the fighter. Mayweather just makes himself look silly by slagging off Roach, who anybody with half a brain can see is a superb coach.

Floyd Senior couldn't back up his talk about Hatton vs Pacquiao.

I did'nt think that Floyd Snr got owned at all.......It was just funny :box:

But Freddie Roach was spot on with what he said about Hatton, whilst Floyd just blustered and made grandiose gestures as to what would happen. However, whilst Oscar would have lost whatever condition he was in the night he fought Manny, Floyd Snr was right about Oscar being old and weight drained, which Freddie seemed reluctant to agree with, which was silly. The bottom line, is that Freddie is far more articulate than Floyd and a far nicer person, but i think they both quite like outdoing each other and revel in the media spat that they have created for themselves.
