Good luck Amir Khan
He needs a Good draw and a bit of luck in probably one or two of his bouts. Good to see Audley Harrison helping him to. I haven't ever seen him box but I am looking forward to seeing him. Hope the Beeb don't put him under too much pressure to bring a medal back. If he wins amedal it will be a surprise I think.
I think the 60kg bouts start on Monday? Well I hope so, I have taken the day off as flexi time just in case.
Bejing will more likely be Amir's Olympics... but I hope he gives it a bloody good crack in Athens! I'm sure he will.
I have backed him (8/1 Sportingodds.com) to win the gold.
You never know eh. GO AMIR!

i'll look out for him. I'm looking forward top seeing Jean Pascal again...he was awesome in the Commonwealths, but barely made the Olympics because of Canada's tough qualification rules.
be good to see the Americans go home empty handed as well. But apparently their super heavyweight, Estrada is a hot favourite for gold.

I think the draw is the day before the start of the boxing comp - there's another thread on here somewhere that gives the running order.
Amir boxes on Tuesday I think?
I doubt he'll stick around amateur for another 4 years somehow. The sharks are already circling, and Warren has asked for videos already.
Will he turn down all that cash and stick with his amateur handout for the next 4 years?

Estrada is on course for a bronze depending on the draw.
