Darren Barker too slick. But McDermott brave as they come.
Don't think Macklin's advisers will want Barker. He loses and they know it even if the lad himself wouldn't, so might as well throw him in against a big name to get a pay day. Word is Pavlik steps up, so Macklin fight for vacant WBO? Not like there isn't a precedent.

I like Barker but if anyone thinks he will win a world title forget it. Look at his build/body it is not that of a world class middle-weight also the lack of power is not a good sign. I actually think Macklin would destroy him. Good boxer no doubt but not a Pavlik or Abraham.

Barker will win a world title imo. And his lack of power? and build? Barker is very strong and people will start realising this now. He will stop Mcdermott around 8 or 9, then beat macklin. Macklin will try knock Barker out but Barker will be to smart and finish him of late on. European titles, world titles why not. Good luck Barker!!!!!!
