Mayweather - Pacman

Post by finchy36 »

I can't wait for the inevitable fight between PBF and pacman. Who else thinks though that he shouldn't be taking Marquez for granted? I think pbf will win but I don't think it will be easy. Marquez can be a tough mf.

Mayweather 119/109 Marquez. I would be surprised if it's close.

Sky Box Office =

I'm beginning to really resent Sky. I pay them £40 a month and not only do they have the cheek to put all the top fights on ppv for an extra £15 - but they won't report on any event they're not showing. At least with Setanta they will preview fights and footy matches they aren't showing themselves, but if sky aren't showing something they hardly give it any recognition - be interesting to see how much coverage sky sports news has of David Haye's fight - a brit fighting for the richest prize in sport should get a lot of coverage....let's see... on the plus side I was working with Alex Quinn from sky sports am last week - she is stunning - beautiful - and a nice person too so I'll forgive her for her employers misgivings :TU:

I'm waiting for the day that all Man Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool meetings are all on some kind of PPV - £5 a game.

I am so close to cancelling Sky.

just read that the pbf - jmm fight is to be at 147. F**k that, it aint even gonna be close. As tough as jmm is, he aint gonna get close to beating pbf at that weight. 140 - 143 maybe, but not at welter. I certainly won't be paying sky extra for this now. I guess justin may have the answer... :box:

not 100% sure, but sky have been bleating on about it so I would presume they've got it in the bag. They don't mention things they're not covering normally!! I'm hoping it won't be ppv but I'm not holding my breath!

I think Pacman will beat Mayweather now. I think floyd had started to slow down as a welterweight, and 17 months off won't have helped him. That said, i think the light-welterweight version of Mayweather would have been too much for the pacman, but right now, I think pacman takes some beating.

Will be very interesting to see what floyd has got left against JMM, who I felt beat manny p twice.

I just don't think he looked as fast against hatton and de la hoya as had done against gatti, baldomir and when he was younger.Still amazing though -one of the very ebst ive ever seen -absolute genius really -it is such a skill to make people miss the way he does and then counter virtually every time.

I sort of want Arrum to mess this up so we first get Pacman-Cotto and Mosley-Mayweather and then the winners face off for an even more mega mega-fight

Think Cotto beats Pacman. Tough guy, a big Welterweight, and a methodical and clinical punisher of men.

Think that Pacman gets broken up over the mid rounds, and almost stopped.

Cotto is a much bigger puncher than anyone Pacman fought to date, and a naturally bigger man than Floyd.

Also think he beats Floyd.

I agree, defo Cotto would beat pacman, not so sure about pbf, depending how the lay off has affected him I reckon pbf could box Cotto to submission or a wide decision - be a great one to watch though
