You sure mate? All I've seen is a tester on the Hatton website/forum, which is where this originated from.

My initial thought is that lickle Hatton is gonna get flattened but i'm not sure a win is totally out of the question. Yeah the speed difference and Hatton is going to have to survive a really dangerous start to the fight but if he can (massive if) then who knows which Judah is going to show. Can Hatton's fairly decent fundamentals frustrate Judah... hold on I can't make too much of an argument for this, the class difference is going to be huge, Watson boxed circles round Hatton not too long ago.

I think Judah will do an absolute job on him. Fair play to Mathew Hatton though -did'nt need to take this fight, and what an opportunity -to box a top fighter on a mega show.Got to be happy with that.

Yeap, gotta give him credit for striving to be better. The Hatton's got allot of balls and heart. If he beats Judah, it's a major accomplishment and will propel him into bigger and better fights. Maybe he can get paid like Ricky before he gets banged out. I doubt he beats Judah, but it's not impossible considering Judah has some stamina liabilities. It would be a feel good story and I will be watching.

I haven't seen much of Judah lately, but he will need to have slipped a long way for Matthew Hatton to stand any sort of chance. Matthew's as ready as he will ever be, but the saying "boxing is about levels" must surely apply here. At least Hatton the younger will get a brief opportunity to step out of of Ricky's shadow.

It seems to be confirmed now. Looks like they think Judah is done after his last few. He's about 3-4 classes above Matthew though and should still chin him, Tackie was shot and he nearly did after all

If this fight can be sanctioned.......

Then i have as much right to go up against Pacquaio in his next fight

It's a total miss-match and i can't understand how it's been set up. Maybe Judah's people think they are setting up Zab for an easy win over a shot Ricky and don't realise they will be getting the Mathew version.

I think they have done this to put a British interest for the British PPV. Couldnt they have got Witter or Froch or someone good?

Thats okay, I'll still be watching and will be interested. It's not every day that a brother gets a chance to step out of his superstar siblings shadow against a former world beater. Maybe he can give Zab a tough fight and we will be able to rate how much Zab has left.

Making no mistakes about it though, If Hatton wins....Judah is done on the big stage. Hell, I would probably barely even watch him on ESPN.

judah really should KO him easy.

but i would rather put my money on floy to beat Marquez. They'll probably be similar odds anyway.

I stand by my comments and agree with most of the post saying Hatton has next to no chance, but this match will certainly catch a fair bit of interest and I suspect a lots of threads will appear about it. It's certainly a fight I will be following.

dont understand the outcry, surely this is just a keep busy fight for Zab and they're just using Hatton the younger for publicity.

I think it will be like Miguel Cotto versus Jennings....except a lot less competetive than that fight.

Someone on here made the correct point recently re: Hatton Pac..boxing a calibre of opponent does not make you in the same bracket and this is just another example.

If this fight was for the British title Hatton Junior would treat Zab in the same way he has a sh*t load of other oppos on these shores.....kept the f*ck away from him. It's only because it's conveniently higher profile than that and that's why he's taking it. It's got Rude Awakening written all over it.

Personally I can't wait to see it. I think it will be a hard left uppercut that puts the lights out for Matthew Hatton. I hope we dont see Hatton do a "Lockett job" and be happy to take his knee at the first sign of trouble and get out of there.

Depends what Zab's got left. Against Cotto he fought like a lion. He won't be required to fight anywhere near so hard in this one.
It's been mooted for a while so hopefully Zab will be fit and fresh.
Will he be able to "get up" for an opponent who hasn't fought for the title in his own country yet?? Personally I think Zab will have too much pride not to win this fight and to win it well.
If he spanks Hatton Junior he gets a very very very outside shot at Hatton Senior, that will motivate Judah a lot I feel.
I don't think Ricky would fight him though...I think Ricky will go for a "Steve Forbes" type of opponent, only someone a bit smaller, and sign off with a win. A nice, thank you win.....for the fans you understand.

Interesting point:

Does Hatton get credit if he beats Judah at this stage? Or will the masses say Judah was just there for the taking or he was shot?

I'm refering to Matt Hatton this time......

Of course he'd get credit. I'd consider it upset of the year by a country mile.

I always wondered how long a country mile was in contrast to say........a regular mile....jk.

I say it would be a pretty big upset as well, but the telling factor will be whether or not Judah has as much left in the tank as allot of people think he has. I happen to think he's faded as hell. A Hatton win would suprise me but I don't think I would be too shocked.

So you agree that the Hatton's have big balls of steele?
