Hatton said: "The way I fight and the way Stewart fights means there will be fireworks.
"It's clear now how it's going to go - it will be exciting while it lasts. No matter who I fight I always want to be entertained.
"Mitchell has fought Stewart - and Stewart did quite well. Sharmba threw everything at him and he just kept on coming. Stewart was the one coming on strong at the end."
WHAT UTTER SHITE!!!
I seriously, and sincerely hope Hatton gets KO'ed in the 1st.

Hohohoho! This is shameless, quite shameless, 'Stewart did quite well!!!'
Do they realise that people actually saw that fight, and saw how utterly one sided it was. Dropped three times and barely won a round, in fact, did he actually win a round on the cards? If that is doing well, then I could probably do well against Mike Tyson by that reckoning.
Money for old rope, polishing a turd, etc etc, this is hocum of the highest order, Stewart should be called 'no hope' not 'no joke' he's an above average club fighter who has beaten faded never weres, nothing more.
Kostsya Tszyu made it clear in his last interview he has no intention of facing Hatton, he reeled off several names and then at the end said 'these are the big names, not spadafora or Hatton.'
Say it all really.

RICKY HATTON DOES NOT WANT TO FIGHT THE BEST.Loftgroov wrote:Hatton said: "The way I fight and the way Stewart fights means there will be fireworks.

IF HE DID HE WOULD BE LOOKING AT OTHER PROMOTERS TO DELIVER THE BIG FIGHTS
WHAT DOES A MAN WHO SELLS OUT EVERY TIME NEED A PROMOTER FOR ANYWAY?
IF I WAS RICKY HATTON, I WOULD PROMOTE MYSELF AND EMPLOY STAFF.

He had a few moments, but it's incredible stretching of the term 'did quite well' to say a guy who hardly won a round
Mind you, you wouldn't really expect a promoter to say much else....
"yeah, well Stewart's your lowest risk for ratings, got done up like a kipper by Mitchell, pretty limited, only ever beat past-it retreads really.."
Hardly likely now is it?
