Has anyone heard of him or seen him fight? He won the Everlast
Championships a couple of years ago & did really well. He's fights out
of our gym here in Texas and had a few setbacks with his urinary tract
that caused him to be inactive. I hear that he's cleared & getting ready
to return to the gym. I don't mean to take anything away from Estrada,
but Eugene is a awesome fighter. He's 5'8 and hovers between 240-250lbs.
He's the closest thing to prime Tyson you'll see. He uses that constant
head movement and waits for you to commit yourself to land that BIG
ONE! He humiliated George Foreman's nephew a couple of years ago
at the regional Golden Gloves. He hit George's nephew with the left-hook
that made his body twist in an awkward state. He's a really good guy
too, he won't take advantage of anyone in sparring and will work with
like teamates are supposed to. The good thing about Estrada is that he
stayed active & consistant, but Eugene has true potential.

I'm not sure. I could easily find out though! If that was Eugene you've
met that was eliminated the opening night, it was because of his only
flaw. He starts too late in these amatuer bouts where points are
everything & waits to land that overhand right to end the fight. For real,
I'm happy for the olympians because they've earned they're place
through hard work & staying motivated. I really do feel though out
here in Texas it's a shitload of talent, but inactivity hurts everyone.

Yeah, I think that Im a descent fighter but I have been inactive since 2002 myself. I won the Gene Lewis Tournament that year but after that I got married and now have a little baby so its realy hard to dedicate myself to training. Anyways I met a black heavy wieght and a couple other fighters from texas at that tournament, they were all realy cool. Im pretty sure they were from houston because I remember always calling there coach, coach Houston. I train out here in Vegas with Dominic and Alexis Chavez. Dominic went to the olympic trials at 141 but came up a little short. Hes pro now 2-0 and alexis is 11-0 there both on boxrec.
So your over at Lee's..I've been working out over there for the past month or so. Are you one of walt's guys? PABA is mostly for youth's but a few pros like billy willis train out of there still..Also I asked around about Hill, sadly his wife died about a year ago, and it has taken a big toll on him. right now he is out of boxing.
