The Walsh Brothers
The Walsh Brothers
I would just like to say, Michael Walsh especially, but the other 2 as well in a lesser way - I can't wait to see you get KTFO one by one. I remember seein these chavvy horrendous excuses for people on the Haye-Macc undercard, I hate the lack of respect for their opponents, who let's face it have been journeymen.
Any so called propsect should have respect for these journeymen who turn up and fight at short notice and (like the guy last night vs Michael), was giving away a large amount of weight.
I've seen them a few times on Sky undercards now too and I just find them horrific, as people and as boxers (bar Ryan who is 'tidy' but nowt special). Gosh I can;t wait for one of these to be sprwaled out when they reach any sort of decent level and I genuinely never usually wish any ill-will on boxers.

Re: The Walsh Brothers
M Walsh fights with a chicken stance. Exciting, but God, what a prat.
Re: The Walsh Brothers
Yes, especially Michael they are remarkably unlikeable. Its easy to be cocky when you are fighting a hand picked journeyman who is smaller than you are.
I have a bad feeling that they might make a whole career out of fighting lesser opposition, and never be put in with fighters who spark them.
Naseem, who was equally cocky, had the talent and genuine potential to back it up.

Re: The Walsh Brothers
There so cocky it would be alright if they were the second coming but i wasnt overly impressed with any of them one was open to every punch in the book his stance was so wide and his balance was poor the boy who fought Callaghan was ok he looked clever but still so chavy and annoying
Re: The Walsh Brothers
haha everyone seemed to be cheering for them too. i thought i was the only who couldnt stand them. Michael Walsh especially. he'd throw a good punch, and then fanny about. i personally cant wait to see him get knocked out!
Re: The Walsh Brothers
i saw one of them vs youssef al hamidi and looked pretty good. much better than that horrendous exhibition of non skills and wanker personality on a setanta card.
Re: The Walsh Brothers
I'd like to be the first to stand up for them in this thread, but i can't - hope Michael Walsh gets laid out.
Re: The Walsh Brothers
I hope they all win world titles.

One thing is certain..........Michael will definately get sparked out, only a matter of timeTheCobra wrote:I would just like to say, Michael Walsh especially, but the other 2 as well in a lesser way - I can't wait to see you get KTFO one by one. He thinks he is Naz, but unfortunately for him, does'nt have the power, speed or reflexes and that will become apparent when he has to step up in class. The guys is wide open for a lot of shots
Re: The Walsh Brothers

Re: The Walsh Brothers
People may not like the Walsh's but they have all made a decent start to their career, you can't knock their boxing much
Re: The Walsh Brothers
Fair point, but it would be good to seem them given opponents who might stretch them a little more.Coco wrote:People may not like the Walsh's but they have all made a decent start to their career, you can't knock their boxing much
Not easy for the smallest one, for sure, as there are not too many people at his weight. That said, it swings both ways- he might be first in a position to challenge for a title.

Re: The Walsh Brothers
If he swings that chin about against someone decent like he was last night, then he'll get dropped.
