Helluva quick stoppage. Thought he could have at least let McDermott walk towards him after the knockdown.

1. The stoppage was too quick. I don't think anyone can argue against that. Give McDermott a chance and if he is getting caught again, then stop it.

2. Does Derek Chisora have any mates? Who would hang around with him :confused:

I think the stoppage was 'compassionate' and probably did only delay the inevitable, Parris was also influenced by the fact he didn't jump in last week.
Nevertheless this is a championship fight, McDermott was perfectly fine to go on and deserves the opportunity to turn things around.

Yeah, a good evenings boxing. I just wish Friday Fight night could be at that level- 7.30pm start etc.

I believe, he was a late replacement, Omearas scheduled opponent pulled out.

do these fights ever happen anymore?

i reckon both lads have a bright future and their own ideas where their careers are going. surely they'll both be looking to step up to the next level
