Maccarinelli vs Lebedev on Khan undercard
Re: Maccarinelli vs Lebedev on Khan undercard
Good fight, yeah, and ohhhh, its for a WBO inter continenetal belt.
Which means if its a cut then the fight goes to cards, rather than British rules. Probably.
But taking away the bawble, its a good fight, for sure.

Lebedev has good hand speed and was once a decent prospect. He still boasts a record containing no losses but looks like he could be short (5'9"/5'10") for a cruiserweight. This is an intriguing bout.

Enzo is going to be a journeyman now.

I cant see Enzo ever holding a world title again his chin is far to suspect if he fights Afolabi again i think Afolabi would KO him sonner this time also Cunningham and Adamek would KO him but like kingfin said he may just turn into a world scene journeyman so he fights up and coming fighters before they fight for a world title but i think hed have to much pride for that TBH

deep down, he has to know his limitations though. you can't delude yourself that much.alexpaterson wrote:I cant see Enzo ever holding a world title again his chin is far to suspect if he fights Afolabi again i think Afolabi would KO him sonner this time also Cunningham and Adamek would KO him but like kingfin said he may just turn into a world scene journeyman so he fights up and coming fighters before they fight for a world title but i think hed have to much pride for that TBH

I can't understand why people post things this negative. I suppose some people would just be happy if every boxer gave up because they are not good enough. Maccarinelli, has the determination to switch trainers, spending nearly all week away from his family and pregnant wife, as well as get in the ring and risk his neck and some people just slag him off.
I say good on a hard-working boxer who wants to make something of himself.

Yeah, cut out the negativity.
Other than the totally pointless belt, its an excellent and well made match up.

listen to any one of this chaps interviews. the guy is a prize A c*ck. He is severely limited and thats just the way it is. He feasted on bums almost his entire career. If he had of stepped up sooner and left the calzaghe camp and his comfort zone and got quality sparring, quality training, he could have stood haye on his head. he could have done very well. but he stayed at home feasting on bums and when he gets beaten he never gives credit to the opponent. i don't like the guy plain and simple. Honestly, I hope Lebedev does us all a favour.gobbles wrote:oilup wrote:deep down, he has to know his limitations though. you can't delude yourself that much.alexpaterson wrote:I cant see Enzo ever holding a world title again his chin is far to suspect if he fights Afolabi again i think Afolabi would KO him sonner this time also Cunningham and Adamek would KO him but like kingfin said he may just turn into a world scene journeyman so he fights up and coming fighters before they fight for a world title but i think hed have to much pride for that TBH

Re: Maccarinelli vs Lebedev on Khan undercard
Its an interesting fight because isn't Lebedev also a FW fighter? If the roles were reversed and Enzo was the undefeated prospect and Lebedev the former world champ coming off 2 bad losses I'd see it as Warren sacrificing the former world champ. But surely another defeat for Enzo and its curtains?!
