Paul Ingle defended his IBF featherweight title in an ill-fated fight with Mbulelo Botile in December 2000. It's the last time allegedly promoted a genuine world title fight.tuaman2004 wrote:Just wondering as i aint sure if it was Naz when he fought Boom Boom for IBF crown in 1997

Was Freitas a Sports Network when he fought Casamayor?
Also, I think the guy who fought Johnny Tapia in the York Hall in 2002 challenged for the IBF Super Bantamweight title a couple years before. The fight was held in the UK, but I'm not sure who was the promoter.
Also not sure if it was before or after Ingle, but it was certainly one of the last times a major title fight has been in the UK.
