Very true, but its been widely reported that Khan feels he learnt a lot from that defeat and considers the same result, or at least that margin of defeat won't occur next time.emile wrote:He got smoked in the test event by Mario Kindelan, 33-13. There is nothing to be ashamed of for that, but it does likely mean, like everybody else, that his medalling will be very dependent on not getting drawn in the same pod as Kindelan.
Remember, Khan got beat in the euro championships in Croatia by an opponent in the first round. The next time they met (next tournement), Khan absolutely slaughtered him....
Kindelan is still too good for Khan, in all probability, but an Olympic final between the two of them would be awesome!

thats the schedule. struggling to find the draw as such so i can work out who can meet who at what stage etc... all i know is that Khan can't face Kindelan until the final.

it's not simple...that's just the lightweight draw. you can find them all navigating through the divisions...but i cant be arsed.
