Found this info in the Toronto Star of April 4th, 1922. New Orleans. In round 2 Harry Foley caught Charley Weinert on the jaw with a left hook that sent him through the ropes. The local commissioner pushed Weinert back into the ring. Before the bell sounded for round 3 Weinert informed the ref he would not continue because he had hurt his head in the fall. The ref immediately awarded a TKO to Foley.

P.S. also found an article from Mar.28, 1922 that the previous day Bill Tate was awarded a decision in an 8 round fight over Sam Langford at Memphis, Tenn.
