Found this in the Toronto Star: Montreal, April 23, 1915 - Cleve Hawkins, local coloured heavyweight lost a close decision over 10 rounds to George Boer Rodel. This seems to be an official decision.

Recall reading that boxing had just been legalized in Montreal around that time, I have notated the bout.
