Exactly, i very much doubt he'll ever fight either of them. In my opinion he'll likely fight Pacquio at the end of this year (much the smaller guy and i believe Mayweather fancies it, he's playing coy just now IMO!), and i reckon he'll have Pacquio's number. He'll then claim he's beaten the best of the best, the guy we all wanted to see him fight and that he's nothing else he needs to prove.
Fcuk that, the Pacquio fight is appealing, but he has never been hit on the chin above 135lbs and to me is still unproven at the higher weight because of that alone. Mayweather should be fighting the real names at 147lbs, the Marquez fight is a fcuking joke IMO, however good he is at 135lbs there is no knowing if he can adapt to the higher weight. A guy of Mayweather's calibre should not be bringing up challengers from 2 divisions below, its rediculous. However unlikely i think it is, i hope Marquez does a job on him!
Mayweather should be fighting either Cotto or Mosley, Margarito or Williams. If he needs a tune up fight it should be against a natural 147lbs fighter, not a career featherweight turned lightweight!
