If he ever fights a real heavyweight boxer he will be KO'd early and hard.

couldn't tell from that mismatched farce.
Put him in with an up and comer and let's see what happens. Someone like whitehead perhaps.

too robotic and try-hardish.

he would really get badly hurt if he got serious about boxing.

i know gurr was a no hoper but think sonny bill could make a decent go at it, i mean hes fit, strong and in better shape than any of the fat HW'S around here. he's still young too. i rekon with a good trainer he could at least be competive in the local scene

Can't really judge on one fight and a no-hoper opponent. Any boxer with basic skills will look good against Gary. Can SBW box? moved ok, didnt brawl, remained calm but stiff, terrible defence but I guess he was confident in using his reach and jab.

He is capable of being a good fighter if he took it seriously. In the mean time I think he should just stick to rugby and see what happens from there

NO... plan and simple... let alone the guy he fought was totally S*** fighter... Was a bit of joke if you ask me.. And I don't know how many times I've seen a so called street fighter fight Boxing or MMA and get there arse kick... Tho saying that it was a great marketing ploy for the fight.... :box:
