Sonny bill might lose!!!!

Post by Eric t »

I read this at a forum, don't know if it is true or not but the dude looks strong and in good shape, the dude is surpose to be a very good street fighter, no one expected royce sio to ko haumono so you never know, mundine thinks sonny can make it in boxing and i think sonny even rocked alex leapai in sparring, sonny might be good but you never know if gurr jumps on sonny and catches him, down he might go, i don't know gurr might just be some clown they brought over to get a wooping, it's exciting because little is known about this gurr, if he was just some fatso you would think sonny winning is a foregone conclusion but yeah the dude looks in decent shape so maybe trains and has some experience from the street fights he is said to have been in, sonny is no seasoned pro boxer either so you never know what will happen.

Be scared SBW, be scared! I have personally known Gary 'The Baboon' Gurr for a number of years an have never met a man with the arm strength and power as Gurr.
He's mad as a bag of snakes with the speed, guts and determination as a group 1 race horse.
Known for his bareknuckle brawls in the back streets of Auckland, i have personally watched him take down many high profile sports stars in arm wrestles whilst chatting up the local ladies and sipping away on a whisky, a huge testament to his arm strength.
This man won't go down without a fight, he has taken out bigger men than Sonny Bill in a blink of an eyelid his whole life and his call 'i'll finish him in the first so i can get to the bar' shouldn't go unheard.
I'll personally be at the fight to watch SBW come unstuck to this modern day Tyson, and witness the brawler with a ticker the size of pharlap!

Jesus christ, this guy makes one post on ESB and its been reported nationwide.

I find it more impressive that half an hour after he posted, it was picked up by a journo and sent out on his twitter stream.

From that thread, here was my query.
Isn't it fantastic when a major newspaper reports the one time post of B.Rick and actually quotes him. Is it much of a stretch to suggest the "journo" involved, Brad Walter, didn't actually originate the quotes himself? Are they that desperate for copy?

Journalism 101 today, google a name and hey presto. Don't have enough to write? Join a forum, spin whatever bullshit you want and sit back.

So Brad, if you are still around, can you explain to me why just half an hour after 'B.Rick' posted, you had his comments up on your twitter stream?

http://twitter.com/bradwal

Waiting in anticipation of an explanation, expecting none...
The truth is out there...

QUOTE "sonny even rocked alex leapai in sparring" - sonny didn't rock alex not even a scratch" i was there with team mundine.Alex was told by koder & mundine to take it light on his samoan brother, Leapai done a great job sparring & giving sonny advice, honestly he's lucky cause leapai would of eaten him for brekky no offense to my bro SBW, leapai who then did heavy sparring with worldchamp Ian Jacobs plus 4 other heavyweights.

He looks pretty good for a beginner.

Here is a vid of him doing a bit of sparring with alex leapai.

Neither has been in a recognized pro fight. After the fight we may have some idea of how either will go.

Referee had to save Gurr. He did not know what hit him.

Williams looked about a foot taller than him.

What a farce!

Agreed, Khoder bought Gurr, his mouth was certainly bigger than his punch.

Look boys, re. this Gary Gurr character that`s supposed to get around "knocking nightclub bouncers out", I had a mate that was a concretor, loved a beer and a bit of a blue.
If he couldn`t poleaxe Gurr real quick in a bar, or anywhere else for that matter, I`m not here.
Yeah, I know it was a Charity do, but geeez, the promotors need there arse kicked for that display.

Im severly out of shape and could have done better than Gurr.
Me and my brother were watching and having a laugh. SBW didnt even have his hands up. The whole thing was a joke.
