It was a hell of a fight. Crolla was very active but Sykes threw the heavier and more telling blows.

Great fight they both had great workrate but Sykes had the quality imo I thought Sykes was really good accurate and looked stronger but Crolla never gave up and kept plugging away great fight

Domestic, well matched bouts like this are often crackers. There needs to be more of them!

Good fight on paper, even though I didn't see it live. Crolla was being tipped as a real star for the future, I mean world titles and all, not so long ago. What went wrong? Lack of focus or is he just not as good as first expected?

Good little scrap.

Was gunning for Crolla but Sykes was the slightly better.

Think Crolla lacks power.

Ye thought that he lacked a bit of power he hasnt stopped someone for 8 fights since the opponants have got better he has stopped stopping them but he still is a decent fighter but Sykes will go on to British level when Mitchell goes to world level then i would like to see him fight Stephen Foster that would be a good little scrap

It was a good fight, both lads gave their all. Its nice to see prospects fighting each other.

I'm not so sure either will go above domestic level though, both seemed to lack the strength or power too.

Truly devastated I really am!! :verysad:

But Im honest and Sykes boxed a very good fight and deserved his victory!

Sykes has a bright future ahead of him and good luck to him..

Simply not good enough and never was, I feel he was pushed into turning pro too early.

A good win for Maloney over Warren. Why was this on a Maloney show did Warren not win the purse bid for this fight ?
