As Nicky Piper spoke about recently, we have been lacking some major domestic scraps recently. Fights the British fans are dying to see.
Which one wets your lips the most?
Hatton V Witter (Probably the most talked about British match-up but a big chance this may never happen. my pic: Hatton TKO rd 8)
Harrison v Brodie (Brodie needs another big fight but promotional difficulties could scuppy this one. Harrision bigger and stronger for me. My pic: Harrison by late TKO)
Gomez v Arther II (I would personally love to see this one. Hopefully Arther learned from his mistakes and will improve on that leaky defence. Gomez is much improved. All depends whether Roach is in Arther's corner. My pic: Arther by TKO rd 10)
Khaliq v Barnes (This division is crying out for a good domestic fight. Feel Khaliq would have the edge on experience My Pic: Khaliq by UD)
Takaloo v Williams (Both fighters have a point to prove with Takaloo with the power advantage with the silkier skills from Williams. My Pic: Williams by UD)
Eastman V Alexander (Would personally love this fight but unlikely to happen due to conflicting promotors. Eastman is an all round better boxer and would avoid the Alexander onslought and possibly stop him late. My pic: Eastman TKO round 11)
Sinclair v Lockett (Both need to rejuvenate their careers. Would be an interesting one. My pic: Sinclair by SD)
Calzaghe v Reid II (May never happen if Joe moves up but Reid may not have a chance anyway after a scrappy one with Magee. My pic: Calzaghe by UD)
Nelson v Maccerinelli (Would be a big ask of Enzo at this stage in his carreer but he seams to like bad mouthing his fellow cruisers so why not. My pic: Maccerinelli by UD in a year or so)
Maccerinelli v Haye (Now this sounds much better. Both have KO power and chins left out to dry. This could be another Thompson/Sellers affair..! My pic: Haye by late TKO after a few knockdowns)
Williams v Harrision (Getting bored of hearing about it, just want to get it out of the way. Not a fan of either fighter but I feel this fight has to happen. My pic: Williams by UD)
Which domestic match up do we want most...?

I would enjoy most of those scraps too Jedi! Except maybe for Calzaghe-Reid II...Reid is virtually finished now and no way would he beat Calzaghe based on the form he showed against Magee, even though i thought he won the first fight.
And secondly...Eastman-Alexander...nah! It was mooted to happen once but Alexander is chin worn and i believe he would get stopped early by Eastman.

I agree. If he took 3 rounds to get Scott Dann he wouldn't take 11 to take out Alexander unless the guy above was referring to Gilbert Eastman?steve689 wrote: Ans econdly...Eastman-Alexander...nah!
