We wanna see a Geale v Mundine not Green v Mundine rematch!

Post by Liver Crusher »

He fought Sam Soliman three times...how good would a re-match be with Geale..

..would Mundine risk it though?? What would ticket sales be like at a Sydney venue??

Choc said after the fight that Geale fight was much harder then what he anticipates against Pavlik or Sturm!

I know they wouldn't be as quick and in your face like Geale??! :box: :box: :box: :box: :box:

Go Gealy..and oh i thought when I came back on boxrec I would have copped criticism about my predictions or support for Geale??...thanks :TU:

Mate I am a huge Greeny fan and would love him to get a chance at redemption against Choc. But after Gealey getting ripped off last night I would rather see a Geale v Mundine rematch. Especially if Green goes after RJJ and a light heavy belt instead of Choc.
The interest and controversey from last nights fight would be huge for ticket sales. I know I would fly to from Perth to Sydney for it.

Green is still a bigger name and has more power than Geale so I reckon he would still sell more tickets.

In terms of risk vs reward for Mundine I think this means he would be more likely to go for Green...

Mundine will copy another fighting great. Apollo Creed once said "don't want no rematch", and nor will Mundine.

Mundine cannot gain from a Geale rematch at this stage. Daniel has a different path to pursue, one that hopefully leads to more belts.

Green might have more power than Geale but sure as hell doesnt have the pace, hand speed & skill as Geale.

I will never watch Green again.."over the hill" !

mundines very beatable at middle so id like to see him stick around there...geale could do it next time i feel. this fight would be a massive confidence boost for him and he knows how to do it... and of course green aint about to move to middle.

one thing i felt geale did wrong in this fight was trying to hard to land with the right hand...choc uses that left shoulder to protect himself from rights just like PBF and RJJ. geale had success with the left hook but didnt capatalise on it enough and kept looking for the right - but i guess thats how sven did it.

My son is half aboriginal and has blonde hair and blue eyes. You can't always tell by the looks of someone. It also can depend on weather they identify as aboriginal or not. A lot of people choose not to.

i agree adam. Danny should have used his left hook more against Mundines side-on defense while moving round to his left. He ended up behind Mundine too often.

First things first, Danny should have used something! Throwing any sort of punches would have been a good start...

The Aboriginal community recognise Daniel Geale as Aboriginal, why can't you?

Well,Well,Well........ you are all not going to believe this, Sam Soliman could be set for a 4th showdown with Mundine, when He fights in an IBO middleweight eliminater in July, what is wrong with people in Boxing at the moment, " yeh i want Pavlik and Sturm, I'm the best athlete yada yada yada" If this should happen in the future, you would and could only mention Mundines career in the same breath The rock and stone cold steve.

It's beginning to look a lot like a script.
