Regular cards between Australia and Japan

I have long thought that geographically out of all countrys in this part of the world, that these 2 stronger nations could reap the rewards of regular cards.
There are in the lighter weights some pretty fierce competetors and through the possability of strong matchups could gain much better experience before launching on the world scene.
So often do you see promising fighters scheduled to fight TBA, then throwing a journeyman in at the last minute because they couldn't get the fight they wanted. It often continues throughout thier career and as a result of poor preperation are not quite ready before getting thier eventual shot, often ending very badly for the under cooked fighter.
A great example is King Davidson at lightmiddle, his management could be looking in the land of the rising sun.I have heard claims from his camp of no fighters here domestically wanting to climb through the ropes with him..

Also note that there is only 10 registered featherweights in Australia, so quality matchups are limited.
Japan have a staggering 233 registered featherweights, which would provide Australians with a large selection of quality fights and tuneups as a hungry man can handle.

I mention the featherweights because Dib is fighting the 18th ranked super Bantam from Japan, and his record stands at 15-1-2, which is a good stay busy fight, however i do expect Dib to win.
The point is why not make a connection with a country that has a lot of interest in the sport at the moment, and ensure some quality matchups far more reguarly than providing a promising Australian fighter a sub par opponent then a complete mismatch.

Lot's of good matchups could result.

It would be great. Really we don't need to look that far though. There are heaps of Thias,Indo's that can compete with our best fighters. We just don't get to see the good ones.

There are some great matchups mate. But i think Anton is saying they won't leave Japan to fight. They get paid far more there so why would they risk fighting in our backyard.

Aussies get to fight there if it's for OPBF title, otherwise Japs prefer Thais 'cos they're cheaper & easier to bowl over LOL!
