Like Calzaghe or loathe him - he earnt the money by putting his life on the line like every other boxer, to try to rob him of his earnings is the lowest of the low in my opinion.
Calzaghe sues Warren!
Joe Calzaghe’s fight with promoter allegedly has entered the next round. The undefeated former world champion boxer won a judgment against Warren’s Sports Network earlier this year for almost £2 million, however Calzaghe has yet to see a penny of the money awarded to him by the High Court. Yesterday Calzaghe commenced legal proceedings against Warren personally, claiming that Warren had conspired to deprive him of his money, had conspired to use unlawful means to damage him and had knowingly assisted in a breach of trust or fiduciary duty by Sports Network. Calzaghe also lodged a complaint to the British Boxing Board of Control alleging misconduct by Warren in relation to the non-payment and the lengths to which Calzaghe says Warren has gone to attempt to ensure that he will never be paid. Calzaghe seeks compensation from Warren for the amount of money due to him and is asking the Board to withdraw or suspend Warren’s promoter’s license until such time as that compensation has been paid. “I’m sickened by the way I’ve been treated,” said Calzaghe. “If Warren thinks I’ll walk away from this, after putting myself and my career record at risk in the ring, he’s mistaken. I’ll pursue him all the way until justice is done.”

How will the BBB of C deal with this? how much column inches will BN give to it?
The board, if they really are impartial - should come down heavy on Fwank, its blatant what he`s done .. maybe legal, but very blatant and morally wrong all the same.
