Alex Arthur takes on Ghana's Eric Odumasi at the Royal Highland Centre in his home city of Edinburgh on October 22.
Scott Harrison stopped the tough African in the final round of a Commonwealth title defence back in November 2000.

He was also lined up to fight Michael Gomez for the vacant WBU super-featherweight title in April but in the end they brought in an easier opponent for Gomez (Ben Odamattey).
Despite the latter, Odumasi is just a blown up featherweight.

Odumasi is not too bad considering the no marks they could (and given half a chance probably would have) brought in. Arthur is finished though, he will never be the same fighter after he took that beating from Gomez...sorry to end the post on a downer

Yup, Arthur has really gone some since getting smacked out by Gomez.

In fact he's done a whole heap of FA.
