WHat happened to James Douglas?
He won a gold in the Commonwealth games and was a fighter to watch for Canada. How did he not make it to the Olympics?

If so, he came close, but did not qualify. He was narrowly beaten in the semis of the Pan-Am Games by Odlanier Solis. Then in the second qualifying tourney, he lost in the final to Devin Vargas. Then he was beaten by 1 point in his last chance, by Wilmer Vasquez.
It's tough with only three entries per continent. He or Kertson Manswell were right there, but did not make it.

Yeah, Jason Douglas may have been his name. If he is from Canada, won a Commonwealth Gold, then it is him.
Too bad he did not make it. Loosing by one point in a fight that you need to get to the Olympics must have been heart breaking! Wow.
Well he is young. I am sure he will be back. That is if he stay amateur. I don't see him doing much as a pro though, but you never know.
