Yeah I walked into a pub once (a pub with a massive eff-off Sky Sports board outside I might add) desperate to catch Thompson v Sellars. The wrinkled old crettin behind the bar refused to put it one because it was a week night.

Well I won't be drinking there again......until tonight.

Anyway - from reading comments on this thread and on the BBC website it sounds like Khan was fantastic. I always though the Beijing Olympics would be his stage to shine but if keeps this up he must be in with a shout.

Let us pray now that he doesn't turn pro after the Olympics and sign with allegedly and become a 50-0 WBU champ.

Well he got hit 8 more times than in his first round fight which is encouraging for Khan!

I might be ahead of myself here, but Khan vs Kindelan is the final I am most looking forward to, not as a Brit but as a boxing fan. I have been watching the interacitve coverage extensively. Kindelan has put in 2 of the 3 best performances of these games, Khan's victory today matches those performances.

That Bulgarian was no mug (and thats an understatement). However, Khan beat him in every department - he even looked on the verge of quitting at times in the fourth. Whilst he didn't officially, Khan outclassed the Bulgarian and it is nice to see someone hurting his opponent, been alot of slaps and light punches at these games thus far.
