I definitely would have went if it was a bit closer to home or if the fight was announced a bit earlier. Seems strange to be having it in Liverpool, there's a couple of other North East lads on too, i'm sure they'd have had no trouble selling it up here. I wonder how the ticket sales have gone?

I'm a big fan of Wright, he's a lovely boxer to watch and a cracking bloke too. It would be great to see him win a British title after some of the fights he's had. If he stays switched on for the full 12 rounds and doesn't get lazy and give rounds away i reckon he can do it.

It's a bizarre choice of venue. Perhaps the venue was booked in advance, for a different scheduled fight, and now they are stuck with it, so to speak.

There's about four Scousers on the card, it's all i can think of.

Can't wait for Nick MacDonald, quality little performer.

Not wishing to be the bearer of bad news but Nick MacDonald is no longer listed as boxing (according to the Matchroom's latest fight list, dated 8th June).
Sorry.

It's a bumper card- 10 fights, no less, with a couple of Polish fighters with decent records on the bill.

I'm not sure why so many undercard bouts, I suppose it's work for the boxers, but in front of how many people?

I can't see this selling out, even a small venue like the olympia. I would attend myself but i'm working, the Magee-Quigley show is a definite though.
