What universities offer boxing as a sport?

Post by zojo »

I know most of the military schools, UNLV, Northern Michigan, and Penn St. all have programs. Anyone else?

Both the top 2 in Britain - Oxford & Cambridge - have a big boxing programme - they slug it out in a Varsity Match. A grand occasion.

Cornell University has a club team. We used to have a varsity team, but it was disolved in the 70's. We're trying to bring it back. We have about 100 in boxing phys ed and 20 in the club. Hope to have 10 at the NYGG in '05. Anyone know the dates off hand? Usually in April.
