Hatton vs Khan will be Hattons next fight

Post by briantracy09 »

This isn't official, but might as well be.

If Khan beats Kotelnik (which Dave Parris will certainly ensure), a fight with Hatton is a logical one.

If Khan loses to Kotelnik, a fight with Hatton is a logical one.

KHAN HAS A SKY BOX OFFICE CONTRACT!!

If he loses, the Hatton fight is even more likely because he'll need a good opponent for people to pay PPV. Hatton will see that fight as an easy fight, considering Khan is genuinely hurt every time he is touched on the chin so there should be no problem there.

I can't see this fight NOT being their next fight. What an event it will be.

Personally I think Khan would give Hatton major problems and would KO him pretty early. The speed would cause nightmares for the one dimensional Hatton and I believe Khan will hurt him if he lands flush.

Should be a good event around November/December!

No chance, he loves the money too much. Can see him losing to Khan and then retiring. Khan fight is too lucrative to retire now.

Its 50/50. If i were Hatton I'm sure i would retire. But if i got offered £20m to fight a local rival (with a weak chin) in front of 20,000 fans and most of the UK behind me. I'm sure i would definitely double think it.

If the fight does happen though i see it being a very tough fight for Hatton.

I think it could happen although probably not either of their next fights.

Will depend what Hatton's aspirations are, he can probably get another title shot, mind you if Khan wins that's what it would be. Maybe this does happen...

The only way Khan KO's Hatton is if Hatton is shot beyond belief. Khan is not Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I also think that this fight will not happen if Warren is involved.

Really cant see Hatton fighting Khan myself, in fact I cant see Hatton fighting anyone. I think he will retire and concentrate on promoting others. I think getting down to 10 stones to fight is draining him and a thing of the past now, and fighting at welterweight would see him adding to his losses. Hatton has had a superb career beating everyone except the p4p elite and been a two weight World champion, what more can he do now? Khan isnt in Hattons league and would stand no chance against the hard hitting Hatton but I cant see this tempting Ricky to fight him even for the huge payday.

If I was Hatton there is no way I would retire on the back of that humiliating loss to Pacquiao.

A win over Khan for the WBA title would be a good way to go out, or a good way to revive his career. It makes sense.

Don't see this one happening - what's in it for Hatton.

He doesn't need the money, and in any case, there are still bigger fights out there for him. There's the prospect of a fight with Mayweather still, or maybe DLH coming out for a last hurrah. Or Bradley.

The question is, if Khan wins the title, can Khan fight any twat and it'll be on SBO PPV?

Or would there be some pressure on him to fight someone good?

Is Khan + title enough? If not, what tasty opponent will be sought out?

Surely Hatton wouldn't want to go out of fighting with the Pac defeat. Maybe Sky want to utterly milk the udder on the Hatrton PPV and Khan with WBA strap would cerrtainly be marketable enough.

Khan is a well known name but he's not a superstar. Beating an old Hatton, the publicity that would come before and after such a UK superfight, would help take him to command a bigger stage.

When the possibility of a Khan fight was mentioned to Hatton some time ago (I think before the Prescott loss), Hatton said it was highly unlikely, but, if it did, it would ony happen if he (i.e. Hatton) promoted it.

Makers sence, Hatton could go out ion a good win , I still think he would stop Khan inside 6, but can't see it happening because
A--- Hatton would be a fool to let Warren promote it he might not get paid.
B----Warren knows it would be the end of his last cash cow , when Khan gets sparkled.

One reason it WON'T happen..

They both have SKY BOX OFFICE fights, so why pay £15.00 for 2 ( if they fight eachother) when you can get £30.00 for 2 ( when they fight cannon fodder)?

It nah go appen!

(Translation - it will never happen)

I think Hatton might take it big last fight in Manchester and a good pay day think he'd probably KO Khan but would Warren take the fight Hatton still has power no mater how bad he becomes and i think he'd spark Khan out
