Joe Louis vs Joe Frazier, prime and prime....
Joe Louis vs Joe Frazier, prime and prime....
What happens?
Re: Joe Louis vs Joe Frazier, prime and prime....
This is a tough one. While I can see more arguments here for
Louis, I would be curious to know realistically how well he does
do against the nature of Frazier and his power.
Sure the Foreman fights will come out, but Foreman and Louis
are different animals. Louis had a softer chin, slighlty less size
and was alot more refined as far as putting blows together.
I will go out on a limb and say I can see both winning but
if I was betting I would put it on Louis, in a great and
epic fight that would demand a rematch.

Louis, & early. Not a class issue --- a style one. With his power, precision & combination-punching, he'd decimate Frazier in those early rounds. He had hitting power approaching that of Foreman, but he was far more accurate, & infinitely faster with his hands.
Too quick out of the blocks for the slow-starting Frazier.

Joe's counter-puncher ability would be too much for Frazier.
