always a big misconception on tyson.

he couldn't battle thru a crisis.

exhibit a: rd 6 of tyson-ruddock 1 and rd 10 of tyson-ruddock 2.

he was hurt on both occasions.

1st fight he came back next rd and stopped ruddock.

i do agree that lewis would have had too much for tyson though.

a prime tyson would have had to have delivered a real pumped up display to beat a style like lewis. :box:

right, so Tucker hurt his wanking hand, and history ended up getting Iron Mike. A true cosmic accident.

Terry D wrote:...actually, he responded with the "Johnny Louise" jibe. Lewis could talk trash when he wanted.

Remember the ESPN slot with Rahman, "You're gay, you're gay, you know you're gay!" Lewis impassive, then comes out with, "That's not what your sister said last night." Rock hits the roof. 1-0 to Lennie. It is not quite, "I will poke you in the ass and make you love me you white boy **** *****!", but it was effective.
Dumbass Has-been left himself wide open for the comment about his sister

For the sake of brevity, I'll keep this short.

If you can't see that Lewis was either past his peak or just plain out of shape against Klitschko, then you don't know your boxing.

Joined this thread a bit late but I miss the Lennox fight nights terribly. ALways got really excited as they loomed.

One of my most endearing memories of Lennox is how they would show his changing room 30 mins before the opening bell of the biggest fight/night of his life (I'm thinking the Holyfield fights) and he's having a kip!

I mean how chilled out is that?

Thing is he was so clued up, sometimes I try and catch 20 minues before hitting the gym - it's amazing how much it charges up the batteries.

And his refusal to return to the ring will make him look all the better as the years go by....

Tyson lovers? Fvck off and try to deal with what actually HAPPENED(note, your boy lost as he did everytime he faced a strong man)

Lewis is the greatest Heavyweight sinhe Holmes, FACT.

Easily the best of his era, the others(Bowe, Tyson and Holy) dodged him at various times which says everything.

It's easy to say who "would have" won, but another thing entirely to prove it...

Keep clutching nuthuggers.
