Quartey was in great shape for De La Hoya, I seem to remember A LOT of people picked the naturally bigger, harder hitting African to win that fight. It was a big test for the Golden boy, and after he'd beaten the no.2 he moved straight towards the no.1.

I don't doubt that Oscar has chosen opponents wisely before, but it doesn't mean we have to pick holes in all of his opposition. I see people even trying to suggest that Trinidad was badly weight drained, yeah cause he really looked exhausted down the stretch didn't he.

De La Hoya enters into fights he thinks he can win, so what? Are we going to have a lists of excuses if he somehow beats Hopkins even though the Excecutioner is far and away the hardest opponent De La Hoya could put himself in against?

Quite a few people still pick Quartey as the winner of that one...

Hey it was close, no doubt about it. Just like Lewis v Mercer was close, but we all give Lennox plenty of credit for that one just the same.

I will go with the upset here (DLH win) not that I think it would be an upset cuz Hopkins deserves a shoeing in my book.

Look at the standard of opponents he's fought lately...! Trinidad was the exeption but his resume doesn't compare to DLH's.

Yes Oscar is fresh at 160 but he's hungry and he beleives he can win.

Would personally love to see Oscar win just because he takes braver fights and he has earned it quite frankly.

Do you think Bernard would step up in weight and fight a world champ on his debut at that weight.....naa me neither.

If the Hopkins that beat Trinidad turns up then there will only be one winner, hopefully i will have some pics to put on here for you all. I am taking the trusty digi cam
