Definitive london Gyms list.

Anyone know where I can find a definitive list of the boxing gymnasiums in London, I did find a list on the BBC website, but it was small, also the British boxing yearbook doesn't have a definitive list as I remember.

Anyone got any idea?

A lot of the pro gyms used to be above pubs, like the Wellington in Highgate, The Craven in Battersea and obvoiusly the Thomas A' Becket.

They are all gone now.

Youve got St Pancras in The Pat Newman Centre, Talacre Road, Camden.

I know Eugene Maloney used to run the gym at the back of the Henry Cooper in Old Kent Road.

Youve got the Peacock

Brain Hill's gym in Stratford, East London used to be very good.

Plus some very good Amatuer gyms.

Thats about all I know these days.

Someone like Eric Guy (who does the video tapes amongst other stuff) may know quite a few (Pro and Amateur).
