You cant beat gold old ROCKY for a dogs name, especially if its a boxer, though its been done to death and is uninspiring these days.

Other known names would be Jake (LaMotta), Sonny (Liston) or Sandy (Saddler). Nelson (Azumah) would be unusual but could work.

Off Topic, there was a guy on a BBC 3 show about dogs who had a dog called "Cracker." Isn't that a bit racist?

I was only kidding. :D

I've known people with dogs called Darkie and snowflake- it's never intended in an offensive way.

Louis (pronounced Loo - E) is a good one. Or for that matter, Lewis!

Could even go with Randy, as in Randy Turpin.

Archie is the best dog's name but as every third boy under the age of 4 is called Archie or Alfie might be a little commonplace.

I liked the Gomez shout.

I like the one's that make you smile.

Like a Bull Dog called Clive. Or an Alsation called Keith.

don't do Tyson, far too predictable.

If it was my dog, i'd go with Sonny (Liston).
